Oh, I know he isn't...…………...He would be icing on the cake if Bama got him, but I hear LSU might be in that fight as wellNot trying to rain on your parade...but Burch isn't coming to Bama.

Gilbert will seek transfer after 2020 season.LSU just lost Brady wonder how those offensive guys feel thinking he was going to be there like Gilbert
Per the latest on 247 we are still leading in the CB preditctions. Of note though it is 50/50 between Bama and Missouri for Rakestraw. Two days and counting. Here is a good article about where we are:

Alabama focused squarely on four-star DT McKinnley Jackson ahead of NSD 2020
If Alabama can add four-star Mississippi defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson on National Signing Day, it could help the Crimson Tide secure the nation's No. 1 signing class for the ninth time in the last 10 years.www.montgomeryadvertiser.com
The only reason that would happen would be if our offer is conditional (eg we are waiting on someone else) IMHO.Per the latest on 247 we are still leading in the CB preditctions. Of note though it is 50/50 between Bama and Missouri for Rakestraw.
Yep. If we get Mac and our other three commits there is likely not a spot for Rakestraw. The only reason that would happen would be if our offer is conditional (eg we are waiting on someone else) IMHO.
Just wish I felt better about Mac. For some reason....Anyway, I`ve always been a nervous Nellie about recruiting. Just fear that he`s been absolutely buried under a mountain of negativity concerning UA, CNS and the program. My hope is that adding CFR will be an offset.Per the latest on 247 we are still leading in the CB preditctions. Of note though it is 50/50 between Bama and Missouri for Rakestraw.

He still seems to be trending Bama we will see.
What you talkin about Willis? We are all nervous around here. My take is that we have been recruiting this kid a very, very long time. We have given him our undivided attention and he knows we want him. If he goes elsewhere then it will be a shame both for him and for us. But I believe we have given it our best shot possible regardless.Just wish I felt better about Mac. For some reason....Anyway, I`ve always been a nervous Nellie about recruiting. Absolutely. No question we’ve given it our very best shot. What you talkin about Willis? We are all nervous around here. My take is that we have been recruiting this kid a very, very long time. Steve Wiltfong of 247, whom I know nothing about, predicted A&M but admitted it's a fluid situation.Absolutely. No question we’ve given it our very best shot.
I've seen a couple of pieces by Wiltfong and each had a slant against Bama. At least, all of his predictions I've seen has Tide targets going to other schools and none to the Capstone.Steve Wiltfong of 247, whom I know nothing about, predicted A&M but admitted it's a fluid situation.

TAMU got the last visit. Always have been glad when that’s us.Steve Wiltfong of 247, whom I know nothing about, predicted A&M but admitted it's a fluid situation.

Same. You have to hope the work we put in for months on end isn't erased by his last visit.TAMU got the last visit. Always have been glad when that’s us.
I agree. To say stars don't mean anything is being terribly naive but sometimes we get a little sideways about it. Look, two of our running backs in the League were 3 stars when they came to Bama. How many were really, I mean REALLY, excited when they committed? I know measurables are important but just as important is the ability to identify potential and coach it up.I'm not terribly worried, we have a great class thus far. The older I get the more I believe stars don't matter as much as the recruiting sites want you to believe. We have had many 3 stars outperform 4 and 5 stars. As for what recruits are left, I am also learning that if they don't want to be here, we ultimately do not need/want them. We want guys who want to be here. rtr
