Many people have not waked up yet, but there's no reason to expect things to improve with this virus. The question is "how much worse will it get?" If people are expecting rosy outcomes because Americans are somehow physically different from Chinese, there's a nasty surprise coming. The fact is that China, because of its totalitarian structure, was much, much better than the US, without universal facial recognition and the power to tell millions of people just to stay home. You will eventually wake up...
