Seeing the picture of Sark with UT folk and reading about his meetings regarding the Horns causes me to wonder a bit how well he can focus on the Buckeyes ? I hope this isn't another transition that costs us a ring.

I am happy it wasn't true. But, as I just said in the other thread, roast away guys! I won't be upset about it. I deserve to walk the hot coals, and any joke or comment made will be taken with no offense. I was VERY naive in believing some random tweet. I deserve any flames I get, lol.
That would be my guess. They didn't hammer out a deal in a matter of a few hours.

On a serious note, I do think Tom Herman is on the list as a possibility.

Hate to lose Sark and wish him the best. Maybe I am in the minority, but looking at Sarks overall HC record what exactly is he bringing to UT that Herman wasn't already doing and or building?

Who did they want? I think Sark will light up big 12 defenses. But, how much control will he have?
You have to understand that they are the most self-absorbed and delusional fan base that there is. They literally believe that they should be winning the title in every sport every year and I’m not exaggerating. They thought Urban Meyer should be honored to coach them and that Saban should have been too. Herman was the HOTTEST name in coaching and they ran him off in no time.
You cannot understate how delusional they are...history doesn't matter to these people. Herman had his own personal issues which made life difficult and firing him easier...but they are still a coach-eating monster fan base. I pray the pressure is not so much that Sark reverts to previous behavioral issues.
Most see this hire as equivalent to Herman four years ago. Nothing short of Meyer, Saban, Andy Reid, or Bill Belichick would have appeased the delusional masses in Austin.
As I said in an earlier post, I’m happy Sark is getting another shot at being a HC, but I’m afraid he is wading into a pit of vipers.
