Is there a 5.56 market in Russia?
FN (Belgian) firearms are all over Asia - I've seen tons of them in various images. Many of FN's firearms are chambered in 5.56 (most every European NATO country has a firearm chambered in 5.56).My question is where was the market for our M16 rounds? Not the Taliban. I've been paying attention and I haven't seen a Taliban combatant with anything other than an AK47, which don't accept a 5.56 round.
LOL. I'll try again...
I found the article on their site but it wanted me to sign up to viewLOL. I'll try again...
I hadn't noticed that even the head of the contains obscenities...

"This is not good, Mav."“It looks like Nato has been completely overtaken by American unilateral decisions,” said Lord Peter Ricketts, the UK’s former national security adviser. “First of all, Trump’s decision to start talking to the Taliban about leaving and then the Biden decision to set a timetable.”
LOL - America is NATO. Without America, there is no NATO. The rest of the world literally does nothing while we spend and bleed for them. And the splatter in Europe.
Nato allies urge rethink on alliance after Biden’s ‘unilateral’ Afghanistan exit
"This is not good, Mav."
There were a large number of soldiers and civilians from NATO countries in Afghanistan at the request of the US. The only time NATO Article V has been invoked was by the US in the days after September 11, 2001. The NATO allies responded. Now, some of them feel the US left them in the lurch.LOL - America is NATO. Without America, there is no NATO. The rest of the world literally does nothing while we spend and bleed for them.
If Alexander the Great, the Brits, and the Soviets couldn't completely tame that country, what kind of hubris did it take to make us think we could mold that country into our own image. My dad has said this for (literally) YEARS, that any involvement past this point would not have a good ending. Well, here we are...
and I can only imagine lunch this upcoming Sunday at my parent's house after church.![]()
That’s not really trueThe rest of the world literally does nothing while we spend and bleed for them.
And as if on cue, reports are coming out from all over Afghanistan of brutal beating and killings of civilians - including women and children - by the 'new and improved' Taliban. Not going to link the tweets here but there are some really awful images already coming out.Hint: they don't.
They're acting moderate while the world is watching, but as soon as the troops are gone they'll be back to their barbaric ways. Guaranteed.
Well Alexander’s goal wasn’t to conquer it or establish colonies. His goal was to keep a road open to India and defeat the remnants of the Persians. Done both. Won the war with the Bactrians. If Alexander the Great, the Brits, and the Soviets couldn't completely tame that country, what kind of hubris did it take to make us think we could mold that country into our own image.
“Do you think if you get General Aidid, we will simply put down our weapons and adopt American democracy? That the killing will stop? We know this. Without victory, there will be no peace. There will always be killing, see? This is how things are in our world. In Somalia, killing is negotiation”. (Black Hawk Down)These dirtbags are going to undo 20 years of progress for the Afghans in a few weeks' time.
