Here's the current AP rankings as of 12/6. Bama is now 9th.

Other SEC rankings:

Kentucky 10th
Arkie 12th
Tenn 13th
Auburn 18th
Florida 20th
LSU 25th

if I'm counting correctly, we have the most teams ranked in the Top 25 per conferences?

# 9 in coaches poll also but we are #1 in RPI.

The SEC looks to be fun again this season. It looks like the same teams that were in it last season minus Mizzou

Zags hanging in the top 10 with two tough losses.

Yeah, SEC is gonna be brutal. It'll be tough for anybody to do what we did last year.

I’m not sure I get all the love for UH either. Only one of their top 5 scorers from last year returned
They are a talented team but Saturday could give more context in what they actually look like. I wouldn't sleep on them.

Sorry if already addressed….I’m out of town and haven’t read through the thread.

The road win over Gonzaga is the biggest win in the program since wins over Louisville around 1974 and a Phil Ford led UNC team in the 1976 NCAA tournament.

I know about the wins in Gottfried’s Final Eight run. And a few good wins against Kentucky. But while we’ve had memorable individual game wins, this had far more the feel of a statement, as opposed to an upset.

I’m thinking the Saban-Oats tenure could look like the Bryant-Newton time during the mid-late 70s, only with a more imaginative basketball side.
