Things are getting very..very interesting on the WR front. Isaiah Bond is scheduled to commit tonight at 630pm...expect Bama there..but this morning..I have been told that things are looking very good on the Kendrick Law and Shazz Preston fronts pertaining to Bama. Alabama's target number for WRs is four...so I am still gathering information to see if Bama would go ahead, and take 5 WRs.

That's the thing..these guys are all heavily targeted and recruited by Bama. Bond is definitely hopping on board tonight. I've always been told since probably late summer that Bama would land at least two if not all of Aaron Anderson (current commit), Shazz Preston, and Kendrick Law. So with Prentice, Anderson, and Bond hopping on board...I would say Preston may be higher than Law, but would not be shocked to see the staff take them all.

Bama's receiving corps is going to have incredible speed. Aaron Anderson, Kendrick Law, Isaiah Bond, Kobe Prentice...that's not even to mention Earle and Leary from last class.
If players getting " a slice of the pie " ends up equating to them going to the school that`s the highest bidder...... then that`s truly the end of amateur athletics at the college level. Then again, maybe it`s ended already.

Well, at least one has to wonder ( at least I do ) if this NIL stuff doesn`t devolve into out-in-the open offers from schools, with dollar signs attached , to promote players. There`s been under the table money, that`s true, but I`m talking about public, open bidding for players. It would put a whole new shine on " recruiting ". I can easily see something like this hastening the retirement of men like CNS.

I'm surprised , but not shocked . From what I have gathered it appears that after having become the LSU coach on Sunday , Kelly did not even start recruiting until Wednesday night . Pretty baffling start in my opinion .

Prentice was our first WR commit from in-state and was a late bloomer so to speak and I would hope the culling would not include him. Obviously if we do take all five then there will be quite a few WR's hitting the transfer portal.
