Yeah, we got all excited about several classes here lately only to be severely let down. So, as many on the board have suspected, there needs to be a change in some coaching positions, or these "top classes" don't mean squat.
Yeah not to sound like a buzzkill but it's kind of hard to get excited about recruiting until we fix the glaring coaching personnel problems. Still glad to hear the kid committed to the tide though.

Wow…
Not to be a buzzkill…but glad I don’t live inside some of your cranial spaces…

Lighten up Francis 🫣

I believe there is a chance neither of them end up at Edge.
Agreed. Campbell spent all last spring and fall at ILB and I think will be in the mix for a spot next year next to Lawson. This was apparently the plan for him all along

Alexander is a bit of a tweaner for us. He's not really long enough to be a typical edge player, but not really big enough to be a DL while being way bigger than what most of our other edge guys are. Only other guy close to his body type on the roster is a DL so I kinda think he settles there.

Yea Campbell actually turned some heads at ILB this off-season and has a chance to push there this year.

I like Alexander at defensive line myself if he can add the size.

Where ever there's BBQ, Bourbon & Football
Give them time. We started two future top 15 NFL draft picks at those spots this season, and another possible future first rounder (Braswell) rotating in.
I think in light of the transfer portal, are the players going to give "us" time to develop them and start there or are they going to get tired of waiting their turn and jet? Let's hope we can find a way to keep a lot of our recruiting classes around long enough to develop and see the fruit on the field.

Your last sentence is the crux of a VERY large problem, IMO. I think that`s not only true as far as team welfare is concerned but also teaches a lesson that, " Things get tough and/or don`t meet your personal expectations, no problem, you can bail at any time. " Life`s not always like that.
