I believe there is a chance neither of them end up at Edge.We signed two 5* edge rushers in the 2022 class as well. I wonder if we will start to see production out of them?

As long as they don't end up being "misses". We really need to hit on some of these top recruits because the last several years we have swung and missed badly.I believe there is a chance neither of them end up at Edge.
Yeah, we got all excited about several classes here lately only to be severely let down. So, as many on the board have suspected, there needs to be a change in some coaching positions, or these "top classes" don't mean squat.Got to wonder how much development played in it.
now if we can just retain them for 3-4 seasonsWe signed two 5* edge rushers in the 2022 class as well. I wonder if we will start to see production out of them?

Preach it, brother buzzardYeah, we got all excited about several classes here lately only to be severely let down. So, as many on the board have suspected, there needs to be a change in some coaching positions, or these "top classes" don't mean squat.
Yeah not to sound like a buzzkill but it's kind of hard to get excited about recruiting until we fix the glaring coaching personnel problems. Still glad to hear the kid committed to the tide though.Yeah, we got all excited about several classes here lately only to be severely let down. Agreed. Campbell spent all last spring and fall at ILB and I think will be in the mix for a spot next year next to Lawson. This was apparently the plan for him all alongI believe there is a chance neither of them end up at Edge.

Alexander is a bit of a tweaner for us. He's not really long enough to be a typical edge player, but not really big enough to be a DL while being way bigger than what most of our other edge guys are. Only other guy close to his body type on the roster is a DL so I kinda think he settles there.
Give them time. We started two future top 15 NFL draft picks at those spots this season, and another possible future first rounder (Braswell) rotating in.We signed two 5* edge rushers in the 2022 class as well. I wonder if we will start to see production out of them?

I think in light of the transfer portal, are the players going to give "us" time to develop them and start there or are they going to get tired of waiting their turn and jet? Let's hope we can find a way to keep a lot of our recruiting classes around long enough to develop and see the fruit on the field.Give them time. Your last sentence is the crux of a VERY large problem, IMO. I think that`s not only true as far as team welfare is concerned but also teaches a lesson that, " Things get tough and/or don`t meet your personal expectations, no problem, you can bail at any time. " Life`s not always like that.I think in light of the transfer portal, are the players going to give "us" time to develop them and start there or are they going to get tired of waiting their turn and jet?
