IMO, Golding is not nearly as problematic for us as O'Brien. The defense, for better or worse, is still Saban's baby - but I think he's relinquished a ton of control over the offense dating back to the Kiffin hire. I think O'Brien is gone (and needs to be gone yesterday), but I won't be shocked to see Golding return.

We scored enough points in most games to beat most anyone (I do think BoB needs to go) but we couldn't stop other teams from scoring. Golding just isn't the one to lead our defense/call the plays.

Now, I wish I was in a position to FIRE Chet Gladchuk. There is a RIGHT way to do things and a WRONG way. Plus a TIME and Place to do things. The coach had just lost a very close game in double OT. Why could Chet not wait until at least today. Sounds COLD-hearted! Well, I guess Coach Kiffin would know how this feels after what happened to him at USCw.

Yeah everyone knew the Navy program had begun to slip in recent years and a change was most likely coming. But I remember when Coach Niumatalolo took that program over that program and was able to sustain the success that Paul Johnson had started. Hard as hell to do at a service academy these days. He deserved better than having the rug yanked from under him right after a gut wrenching loss.
I also think over the years Niumatalolo had chances to jump from the Navy program but chose to stay. Most recently I believe he was mentioned as a candidate for the Hawaii job.

Deserved at least that gesture of respect for never having lost to the former National Champions UCF under the Gus Bus. Of course when you lose your home opener to...Delaware, you're pretty much walking the plank for the next 11 weeks.

Situation Normal, Navy Still Sucks!!!!

Having read the article above, its sure sounds like the Naval Academy is not willing to make at least a few changes to be a bit more competitive...So, Ken is probably better off for getting out from under that mess!!!

Even though I'm former Navy, I think I'm going to root for Army for the next few years!!!

Auburn: The program has formally announced the additions of Ron Roberts (DC) and Philip Montgomery (OC).

Looks like auburn has upgraded their coordinators. Roberts DC from Baylor and Montgomery from HC at Tulsa. Montgomery did spent several years on Art Briles staff.

I heard yesterday that Freeze would probably let Montgomery call the plays because it's very similar to what Freeze runs
