Winning the Sugar Bowl is never meaningless.
You sure ask a lot of questions...The game is meaningless in that the outcome doesn't mean anything. If Alabama loses, does it mean they stink? No, it doesn't. Does it mean K-State is this phenominal team? Hell no! If Alabama wins doe it even matter? Nope, because people will have the exact same opinion they had before the game was played. Will I still watch? Of course. Do I still want to win? Of course. I just hope the players care enough to try their best to dominate. With today's generation, I have doubts that players will care since this is not for a championship. Or maybe I am just an old cynic?
And both the Austin Peay and Auburn games 'didn't matter' under that line of thought. The game is meaningless in that the outcome doesn't mean anything. If Alabama loses, does it mean they stink? I’m expecting in Manhattan, Kansas on the 31st there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth
Thank you. If the Sugar Bowl is meaningless, every regular season game played after a team is out of the playoff race is meaningless. And both the Austin Peay and Auburn games 'didn't matter' under that line of thought.
I just don't buy that real fans consider the games meaningless.
Exactly right. Using that logic a team like Colorado had almost an entirely meaningless season so they could have just forfeited their remaining games after week 3 or 4, but they didn't.Thank you.
