Lia is an above average college quarterback. Maryland isn’t exactly loaded, especially on the offensive line. He has very little time to pass.

I'm going to call it right now. He's projected somewhere between 6th round and Unsigned Free agent. If he has real good season, Thowing over 3,200 yards and over 20 TDs and under 10 interceptions this fall.... and Maryland plays well.... He has a shot being drafted in 3rd to 5th round. Kid is everything you would want in a QB, but his inability to remain patient and making the right decisions at time is what keeping him from getting a serious look. He must improve on that to be successful at the next level.

FYI.. If he had transferred to Auburn, I think he would've done well under Hugh Freeze.

I have never been impressed with Taulia. I thought, at the time, he was vastly overrated and being Tua's brother may have attributed to a lot of his hype and rating. He made the right decision by transferring. I don't think he has an NFL future.

He’s not his brother by any measure. However have you seen him play for the Terps? He is now their all time career passing yards leader, and made second team All Big Ten last year. He’s small and makes some mistakes, but is a very good major college qb.

I wonder how well he took to "hating Auburn" while being around the atmosphere of the program here in Alabama?

I don't have a strong opinion of his game one way or another, but I'm just glad his last name will never appear on a barner jersey!

I’ve enjoyed watching Taulia play for Maryland. He does need better blockers on the OL. I think he is a high CHARACTER young man.
