Game Thread: Mac vs Tua (NBC) dolphins vs Patriots

Rees calls too many long developing plays. BOB did that. Why is that even a thing? Mix in the slants and the short stuff. Do like Sark, set things up for later.

These guys get paid more money than I'll ever see to be OCs....its ridiculous the garbage they call.

Sorry, seeing Tua and Waddle doing their thing is just maddening....the play calls fit them perfectly.
Right, it's not as complicated as it seems. OL having trouble holding blocks? Run quick, short routes.

Find a center who has a soft snap our guys can handle without literally having to "look it in" like receivers have to, and get the ball out quickly!

Daball did it with Tua. Kiffin did it. Sark did it. See the pattern? Let the WRs catch and run!

Dolphins just traded 3 for 7. Went straight down the field and scored in under 2 minutes.

They get the ball in the second half. This one may be over because poor Mac just doesn't have the skill players to hang.

Thats what is so maddening. How difficult is it to adjust and play to your strengths. What is it that keeps slants and quick out and screens from being called.

To me, I used to pitch long ago, you set things up, throw one thing to set up another pitch. How hard is that as an OC...call a play out of a formation see how the D sets up. Does the safety repeatedly come down or fade to one side. Does the ILB typically bite......I mean come on.

New England has a poor run game

Is Damian Harris out of the league now? He was so good for NE. Very underrated back who kinda gets lost among some good backs we've had.

Ironically Tua and Fins are doing what NE used to do with Brady and their short, accurate passing and good running game.
