I don’t think suspending CJH really does much…
Sends a sign:Look,we acted quickly…but that’s all.
Game’s been prepped for since last year.

If so, I'm shocked that:
1) this investigation broke open so quickly and easily, and
2) the B1G is moving this quickly on a team that has real CFP potential.
IMO it doesn’t matter if the B1G moves on this and suspends Harbaugh. Then Michigan turns to its attorneys and says “hey get a temporary restraining order in place”.

SELMA RANT:
Why do so many of you posting here keep repeating the cliche about sign stealing not being "a big deal?"

WHO SAID THIS???
I want names.

The Athletic polled 50 NZAA coaches as to the severity of it.
1- not a big deal
5 - a nuclear bomb level big deal

46% rated it a 5, and 94% rated it 3 or above.
TWO - out of 50 coaches - rated it below a 3.

I do a Google search, and I can't find anybody who says "this is no big deal", nobody of consequence anyway.

So who said this?
Was one of those 2 coaches Harbaugh?

So Michigan’s response to the B1G is “This is a NCAA matter, not a matter of conference policy/sportsmanship guidelines. We’ll take it up with them. You just run along now….”

If they go this route they better enjoy it while they can cause they’ll be “staring down a barrel” etc etc

Well probs not but I bet harrrrblaw will get a season long show clause

Both Michigan and Harbaugh have put both the NCAA and the Big 10 (especially the Big 10) into a situation that backed both entities into a corner than neither group feels like they should have ever been backed into. I mean the conference has to either punish one of the two most high profile members of the conference, while that school is positioned to make a run at the playoffs….or alienate the hell out of the the rest of the teams in the conference (which includes the other most high profile conference member) by not punishing UM, which causes obvious problems for those affected by UMs cheating.

I think that they will try to suspend Harbaugh, knowing that a lawsuit will kill that long enough for the season to play out. It is the smart play. They look like they are doing the right thing, knowing that it will not impact UM this season.

Then, if UM loses - especially if they lose to OSU - don't be shocked if Harbaugh gets fired.

The Big hopes Michigan loses against State Penn or Ohio State, it takes them off the hook, if Michigan wins out the Big or the NCAA will do nothing until after the season, then all bets are off, we got hammered years ago for allegedly paying a player and others have as well, so I think this is more cheating because you have a staffer who is on the other team's sideline, tell me the difference?
