Bama getting no respect

If they would just clearly define the ranking guidelines on first rankings of each year, I think this whole thing could be cleared up. If they're working off SoS, just say that. If they're running on eye test, so be it. Just make it clear to start.
To me, it's clear this year's committee only cares about the records and style points, that's it. Teams are getting rewarded for playing an easy schedule and running up the score, while one particular team is getting punished for playing a brutal schedule.

Then why isn’t Alabama #1 and Georgia #5?

I believe he is saying we are being punished for playing a difficult schedule and that's why we are stuck at #8. Most of the rest of the top 7 are being "rewarded" for playing easier schedules.
I think the answer is in his post, is it not? Bama isn't #1 because we are being punished for playing a tough schedule, Georgia is being rewarded for playing an easier schedule. At least I believe that is what his point was.

My point is that he keeps railing on Oregon’s schedule but in other posts praising Georgia as the best team in the country. Yet even everyone’s savior, Sagrain, shows that Georgia plays a WEAKER schedule than Oregon

My point is that even in many people’s arguments for SOS, it’s a far more complicated argument of who is where than what everyone wants to make it out to be.

UGA is ranked where they should be. Washington and Oregon have not played anyone and they're getting rewarded for it, as is FSU. Hell, Oregon lost to the only good team they've played and they're ranked ahead of us. It's ridiculous. Oregon has ZERO RANKED WINS.

There is no one on this planet that can convince me Oregon's schedule is more difficult than UGA.

I understand. I was just reiterating what I believed his point to be. I'm not making an argument in agreement or disagreement.

That’s understandable. But this has gone on for awhile. So I’m taking a larger interpretation of what is being said.
You assumed I was talking about UGA when I said "teams are getting rewarded for playing easy schedules". I was talking about Washington and Oregon. UGA is clearly the best team in the country. They have beaten top 15 teams. Oregon has beaten NO ONE.
