Unfortunately I think the precedent is set by the committee. Hard to read their minds but I think they doubted Bama would beat UGA. But FSU has to lose imo. Louisville is terrible so this isn’t looking good.

Originally I'd said FSU 3 and Texas 4, but that committee will jump this FSU team with Texas.

everyone keeps saying that Texas has the head to head over Bama , so they should get the nod, but the CFBPC didn’t mind putting Texas ahead of OU with the same record , but OU had the head to head. No one is talking about that. View attachment 38806

If head to head doesn't count then they can put in Georgia over us...and what would the very first words be from every fan here?

Also, that ranking is from when OU lost to Kansas, whom Texas already blew out, meaning you have a circle of head to head to solve, not a one-off.

The situations are only similar if someone thinks losing on the last play of the game to a team that lost to a team you blew out is the same as losing at home by 10.

FSU should not be in over Bama. FSU basically told Louisville they could have the game, but Louisville didn't want it. With Jordan Travis out, they do not belong in the playoff. This FSU team is NOT 2014 Ohio State. Not even close. 2014 Ohio State would boat race this FSU team in a battle of 3rd string QBs

If they accept the premise that FSU is not the same team without Travis then accepting that Alabama has grown and is a FAR different team now shouldn’t be that big a leap. I haven’t been impressed by FSU all year. They had a good game against LSU but that was it. Pretty blah the rest of the year.
