Part of that Auburn pitch to players is they are “committed to spending whatever it takes” to land a top flight QB from the portal to rebuild in hurry.
And much of that speculation is the primary portal target is Cam Ward of Washington State.
He would absolutely raise their level of play

Well, it opens soon, so I can imagine there’ll be more Bama players announcing in the days to come.

Might as well put it up:

Criminy!! Thanks CoolBreeze for posting the link! I had no idea there are this many players in the portal! I assume(?) when a player on a bowl-bound team hits the portal, he's no longer a part of his team's bowl plans.
I wish whoever owns this database would simply spell out the name of the team associated with each player, instead of showing a team logo. For some of us, many of the logos aren't helpful in identifying the team.

Nolen was rumored to have attitude problems. Maybe just needs a fresh start some where else. Could be a really good addition to a highly structured program if he understands he needs that. If not he will wind up at a place like Tennessee.

I will be interested to see if any/how many Bama players enter the portal.

As well, are there players that come available we will make a run at? What positions of need are we in? And, are there just some special players we'd take no matter what?

I think his attitude started in high school.

Shocked at that. I get that alot of QBs feel the weight of the world on them. Some of these guys take any criticism as the fans ( or coaches ) hate them when it's not. It's a tough position to play and you must be thick-skin to do it. But they get more benefits and glory than anybody else. So if you want the glory you better have the guts to handle the negative side also.

I suspect he wants to cash in on that $1-2million QB price. Free agency, the ruination of CFB.
