#3 is a punk. Keeps faking like he’s going into the lane to mess with the shooter (did it earlier too). Then barks at the shooter the whole time after he’s called and gives us the extra attempt. Just shut up and play
Proud of this team. They fought hard despite the obvious ref help. I thought Bama would get blown out by the better teams. This team has proven they can compete with anyone. Creighton is up next and it won't be easy, but I have confidence we will give them a helluva fight.
This Purdue team would be an average team without Edey in the lineup.
Come on man, Had we not played with this strategy today we would have lost by 20+. Edey wingspan crosses the lane...
Their run along with foul trouble put us in a hole. But good to see the fight. Creighton’s 7’-1†center will seem petite.
Nothing it is just a glitch on it.
I hope we come out with that workers mindset the rest of the season like today. I’m more optimistic on the season after today vs before.

You can't say if he isn't 7'4" he wouldn't be good without realizing size is part of the game.
Would Brandon Miller be playing in the NBA if he was 5' 10" instead of 6' 10"?
Edey uses his size well. He's skilled and a great FT shooter.
You might not like the officiating today, but it's not Edey's fault. He played hard, but clean IMO.

This game without Edey would have been a double digit loss for Purdue. Edey got away with whatever he wanted and we still could have won had the zebras called this game evenly. The loss of Bediako is going to haunt us thus year. Still we are going to a problem for a lot of teams.
That's all true, but if we don't nail 13 three pointers in the first half, we probably trail double digits at the half and lose by about 20.
They were playing to their strength and so were we.
He definitely had better touch than I thought. And well was better than I thought he’d be too. I’m not sure why we didn’t go after him a little to start to try and get him in foul trouble or try to take charges.
Great effort today. Better result than what I expected honestly. This team had a great chance to win (and should have). The lesson going forward is how the we play our game and not let other teams dictate the way we play
