I was a rocky vs Apollo fight and in this case Apollo came up with the big hits at the end. All I can say is congratulations to Michigan. We needed more offensively this year than what we got. I think for the most part we played the players we had and the players we had were not quite good enough as a whole. But they were good enough to whip Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, and UGA so I'll still remember this team fondly.

We won't win a championship with Milroe at quarterback unless he drastically improves processing coverages quickly and distributing the football. He is very limited right now in the passing game.

Great season. Fundamentally flawed team. You just can't make the mistakes we did all year and continue to overcome them.

We dodged alot of bullets through the season and were always hoping that the Texas game wouldn’t be repeated. But it did against Michigan.

Difference in the game was they dominated our lines and McCarthy played exceptionally well and Milroe was up and down. Yeah our offensive gameplan was bad but there were too many times where we just didn’t play like a championship team enough in the game.

We should be happy with what we accomplished but this one hurts.

I hope the QB next year can read the field and make quick decisions. If it's Milroe, fine. Good defenses will shut him down if he can't see the field and panics. Kid has a lot of work to do in the off-season.

First time in the Saban era that we've gone 3 seasons without a national championship. With how drastically the sport is changing, I'm not so sure he's got one more in him before he retires. I hope like crazy I am wrong

Real talk. Do we want Jalen as the guy next year? Can he improve? I love 22 and 36...RB future is bright. I just don't know what I think of the Jalen era. Kid is so inconsistent with plays and in some cases...effort. That run in the first half hurt bad. Was he in pain? He kind of slowed down on a few runs. Oline needs an upgrade too.

Too many mental errors on the defensive side on the last drive..just needed to execute...then in OT we just folded on both sides...a half yard away from winning via a safety too....ifs and buts....i think i hate michigan as much as Auburn

From the half yard line, we did. No team that allows a drive over the entire field in under three minutes deserves a win.

That was at the end of regulation. The tying drive was 75 yards. Don’t know where the defense went on some of those plays.

In late September, if you would’ve told me this is how our season would end we would’ve all taken it. Like 2014, this outcome or may be national runner up was the ceiling.

You’ll never convince me that was the actual last play. The low snap (surprise) caused him to look down, he panicked, and tried to be a hero. That’s what I think happened.

Whatever it was, you can't panic with the game on the line.

I don't feel too bad. It was a good run. Enjoyed watching this team grow from September to now. On to next year.

Part of me feels this way, but I still can't understand why we kept dropping Milroe back like he is a pocket passer. He isn't. Drop back, stare, get sacked 87 times. Oh well, it was a great run after the way we looked early in the season. Neither team looked very good, but it is a shame that we seemed to regress in two of our last three games. SEC Champs and a 12 win season are always good accomplishments. Roll Tide!
