IMO, the only way he stays next week is if there is no named starter. He is too good to be a backup. In this era, guys like him transfer because he could start for about 100 teams right now.

And it says he knows he’s better than just good. I’m convinced that CKD taking the job contributed heavily into Simpson’s decision to stay. He has the potential for greatness with the right tutorage.
