Disney vs. Direct - How long???

Does anyone, who has insight into how these negotiations work, have a prediction on how long this dispute will last?

No real insight.....but Direct TV will be losing a lot of southern subscribers with this negotiation tactic they are using. Alterative options exist.

People will start hunting other options and if they find they prefer the other option then DirecTV loses a subscriber. I’m not sure what DirecTV’s angle is by cutting ESPN off is. The way I see it, ESPN holds all the cards.

YTTV is almost always cheaper than cable/satellite. As long as you have a decent connection, you’ll be good.

And before that it was YouTube TV. Seems Disney does this every year with someone. And it's always during Football season. Intentional no doubt.

but you can just cancel and then pickup one of the others that isn't going thru a dispute. Cable or satellite, you are stuck with their garbage until the dispute is over.

Honestly this isn’t even that bad. Sinclair basically killed the mlb by refusing to allow streaming services carry them. That was 5 years ago and it still hasn’t changed.
