Does anyone, who has insight into how these negotiations work, have a prediction on how long this dispute will last?

People will start hunting other options and if they find they prefer the other option then DirecTV loses a subscriber. I’m not sure what DirecTV’s angle is by cutting ESPN off is. The way I see it, ESPN holds all the cards.

This is exactly what happened a year ago between Disney and Spectrum. It was resolved within two weeks

Right, with other options at the click of a button, how much hurt are they willing to accept?

And; DirectTV just sent out a letter announcing a price increase, great timing.
They did give me $20 credit for the ESPN service interruption; Whoopeeee!

That’s so they can pay ESPN…🤦🏻‍♂️
They are just arguing over how much

Disney knows just when to apply the full-court press, don't they?

Greed is ruining EVERYTHING...😣

Honestly this isn’t even that bad. Sinclair basically killed the mlb by refusing to allow streaming services carry them. That was 5 years ago and it still hasn’t changed.
