Let me add this - that some of y'all still have posting privileges after the game thread is Festivus Miracle. I tried so hard to be understanding, but y'all have GOT to learn that the woe-is-me whining DOES NOT belong in the game threads. It belongs in the complaint threads.

If we play them again we need to pressure Beck more…we can’t just let him have so much time to throw down the field

Seemed like Beck was never pressured in the 2nd half. I was thinking he played much better in the 2nd half and maybe that had something to do with it.

Georgia made halftime adjustments on defense that threw Bama off in the 2nd half. They also played ball control. But Bama did what was necessary to win.

Well, I hope we take a good, hard look at our second half offense. Was it play calling? Were we resting on our laurels? Who knows. All I know is we stunk it up except for a couple of Ryan Williams plays. Georgia obviously made the adjustments they needed to shut down what we were successful with in the first half, but we kept trying to do the same things over. We needed better offensive adjustments. But in the end, a win is a win, no matter how ugly it is. We need to get better.

Kirby Smart adjusted he is a great coach he has learned from the best. It was never going to be easy.

Defense got too conservative in the 2nd half and it almost cost us, but on offense we were able to get the ball to RW which I felt was the key to success coming into the game. I think he may have a chance at a Heisman before his career ends at Bama.

Georgia's quarterback played much better in the 2nd half. Seems like when teams get desperate for points, the offense suddenly becomes a force.

Same desperation that gets them 4th down conversions gets them turnovers

No doubt - the defensive and offensive game plans became far more conservative in the second half. Trust the players to make plays. Let them loose.

The craziest stat to me is when Georgia went down 28-0, and thus decided punting was no longer an option, they made every single 4th down conversion.
