I think this UGA team is like the mid2010-s Bama teams that learned from their losses and then went on a rampage. UGA was unceasing tonight, looked like Bama of 10 years ago. I doubt they lose another game.
They will lose again IMHO. There will not be an SEC team in the playoff without 2 losses.

Tennessee doesn't have the offense to push UGA. frankly the team in the SEC with the best shot to beat them would be Texas in a rematch if Arch is any good. Ewers is just aggressively mediocre.
Nobody in the SEC can line up with UGA when they're on. They're better than everyone else when they're focused. They're what Bama was 8+ years ago.

It is what it is.

if we hadnt beaten UGA in the SEC championship i really think they win the CFP last year. Them not getting in was a travesty...but the 12 team playoff eliminates the vote bias now. They arent the UGA of previous years but they are getting there unfortunately

Froghorns will probably lose at 8&4 and maybe in Fayetteville. Gonna be a heck of a season to watch unfold that is for sure.

We'll see. Were I a gambler I'd bet money on the <1 remaining losses. They have the look of furious focus that Bama had when Saban was peaking.
If Beck keeps throwing INTs I just don't see it. If they can figure out why he's throwing a billion picks and stop him from continuing to do it then maybe.

I don't see it but they can win it all in the end. I predict there will be 4 SEC teams in the playoff, all with 2 losses and an SEC team will win the National Championship. Technically, we are not out of it BTW.

Nope. We took em to the woodshed and could do it again. So can any team any given week. This is not the old days of SEC divisions. This is downright war in conference against coaches and players on the other sideline that can beat you if you aren't up for the game.

I doubt we could be UGA again

Maybe. But Beck has 8!!!! Picks in the last 4 games and one of those games he threw 0. If he keeps that up especially against talented defenses it's going to bite them.
It isn't hurting them because they have a complete team, and he has a short memory.

Beck is playing with great confidence.

Any team can show up unprepared and any team can knock them off any week.

The diff is when a well-recruited team is well-coached and laser focused, they're next to impossible to get. When Bama was peaking under Saban that's how it was - they were not unbeatable, but it took a herculean effort by the opponent along with Bama playing 'down' to the competition.

If this UGA team is what I think it is (a copy of Saban's teams of 10ish years ago) I think the loss to Bama was a wake-up call.
