Alabama - LSU ... some early thoughts?

LSU has only given up FOUR sacks in 8 games with 333 passing attempts by Nussmeier. So; getting pressure on him has been difficult.
However, they announced one of the starting guards is out after tightrope procedure.
That (injury) coupled w/his numbers vs SEC opponents
(I think I read 53% 7tds 6ints) and I think this leans more in our favor as Vegas shows.

Might be some bad weather headed that way. Possibly a hurricane that turns into a pretty good storm before landfall

Yeah, right now it's headed right that way, which is right at me. Already had Francine this year so I'm not looking for another one. Hoping it will fizzle a lot or just veer off somewhere.

Just in from James Spann. "For the Alabama/LSU game in Baton Rouge Saturday night (6:30p CT kickoff)... the sky will be mostly cloudy with showers possible during the game. The amount and duration of rain will be determined by the track and timing of the tropical system in the northern Gulf of Mexico. While it will be in the process of dissipating, it still could bring a deeper layer of tropical moisture into Southeast Louisiana Saturday. For now we are not expecting it to rain all night, but showers are certainly possible during the game. Watch for forecast changes as we get closer to the weekend."

This is the game to , finally; go after the QB. Nussmeier is zero running threat. He only has 13 rush attempts on the season; including sacks and sneaks. But, they have only given up 4 sacks. He will make some plays and some mistakes under pressure. Hopefully we can take advantage of injuries on their line.
