That's true, so maybe we can expand to hearing from all of those who didn't vote for Harris. How do those folks feel about these choices?
I'm a wait and see guy on most of them.
I'm sure Matt's several years of closing condo loans and writing wills has him well prepared to be the AG of the US.

Taxpayers from the other 49 states pay for breakfast and lunch for every child in Mobile County? I'm from Mobile. Grew up poor but never got a taxpayer-funded meal. If that's true, that sounds like a gross misuse of funds and a lot of built-in waste.
My default is for everyone (individuals, states) to pay their own bills. So, the programs wouldn't necessarily be gone; they'd be paid for at the state level. The further the distance between the payer and the recipient, the greater the waste. There is no incentive to spend money wisely when someone else is writing the check. If poor kids need meals, the state in question can best decide how to spend their own money on a remedy. Someone else will pay? Well, then by gosh let's get freebies for everyone.
It's a classic economic exercise. The way things are set up now through the federal government, everyone is just basically stealing from everyone else.
My default is - because they are politicians - nearly all of them suck. But, like @crimsonaudio, I'm in wait-and-see mode. Why cry before it's time?
His picks so far are just about current loyalty and butt kissing and very little to do with ability.

Are any of these appointments really even close to being an expert in their appointed positions? Boy do I miss the old days where you would get some expert who who rose through the ranks for a cabinet position. Maybe they didn't have the star or communication power, but they at least deeply understood the position and people they were about to be the leaders of.

The WSJ has been relentlessly for Trump... For them to post an editorial panning Gaetz...
I keep hearing that Gaetz is a sacrificial lamb being offered up as a safe rejection to keep republicans from rejecting more than 1 appointee, maybe to save Gabbard and Hegseth . I'm sure trump didn't hatch this plan but bought into it .
I could see this... Of course... The Senate will have to actually stand up to Trump for me to believe they have those rigid little things called vertebral bodies...
