As bad as it is, I remain a Bama fan. Still, this is so difficult to accept.

I never bought into the idea we were going to blow them out, and I never thought Milroe was going to have a great game. Venerables with two weeks to prepare in a home game vs a quarterback like Milroe is a bad combination for us. However I never thought i would see 205 yards on the ground in a half vs our defense. If I was an Oklahoma fan then i would be questioning why they aren’t up by 21 right now. I think that’s why we are going to win in the end but we really need to abandon the constant “we need Milroe in NYC” campaign that we are seemingly attempting to do because if we keep messing around then we won’t have to worry about the playoffs or Atlanta going into the Iron Bowl next week.

I dont think we can adjust on offense - JM doesnt have the skill set to pick them apart...only the deep ball. We need to get rid of the QB run but its in JMs DNA to keep the ball vs hand it off. We havent tried one screen, jet sweep or anything to get players in space. Its been a poor plan so far.

Exactly what I mentioned earlier. I stand by our need to throw some slants or screens.

This is why I’m still not sold on CKD. So he’s great at top ten matchups but it’s games like this that make him look clueless.

Also, I don’t care how the season ends, if Wommack is retained then I will have no faith in CKD. Wommack is in over his head and needs to go back to tiny schools.

I still believe there was something wrong with the players motivation and where their mindset was. That was part of the reason Saban left in my opinion. The team is very talented but just doesn’t seem to get motivated like past teams. We saw glimpses of it last year like the Auburn game were they needed a miracle to beat a bad team. If we see it on game day I would think it was 10 times worse off the field and practices.

Yeah, a heisman doesn't make me feel good. We need a championship. But it's not about team anymore.
