What do you think about 9-3 season? My preseason prediction was 9-3 with losses to Tennessee, LSU and Oklahoma. Didn’t see Vandy loss or LSU win. Good start for new coach, staff, and players.
The record itself is not surprising, but the penalties, inconsistency, and looking terrible for long stretches of game time have been a real disappointment. The meaningless coachspeak when asked any questions at all is going to take some getting used to. I really hope that DeBoer is able to translate his past success into future success, but it seems like as much of a crapshoot as which Alabama team will show up any given day.
But ironically, we would have less of a case for the playoffs if that had happened. SC would be our only quality win.If the 3 losses would have been Georgia, Tennessee and LSU it would have been easier to stomach. As it went we lost 2 games we shouldn't have. With our good wins we had we should have went 11-1.
I thought it would have improved our chances because of fewer bad losses. But ironically, we would have less of a case for the playoffs if that had happened. SC would be our only quality win.
I mean, the bad losses don't seem to hsve hurt us all that much in the eyes of committee. We are the committee's top 3 loss team, after all.I thought it would have improved our chances because of fewer bad losses.
Shhh.........can't be critical of himGiven who are starting QB was going to be - 9-3 was the expectation....losses to UGA/UT and LSU..NOT OU and Vandy...

No disrespect but what is a non frustrating loss? The losses were expected but it’s the way we lost that made this year frustrating

I jokingly told some rival fans we'd go 4-8, but the wins would be against GA, Tenn, LSU, and Auburn...What do you think about 9-3 season? My preseason prediction was 9-3 with losses to Tennessee, LSU and Oklahoma. Didn’t see Vandy loss or LSU win. Good start for new coach, staff, and players.
