With Jackson potentially coming back, Calhoun could experiment at Husky. So I think Secondary is kinda covered for now.

LB- I feel like we need to add 1-2 just for depth/experience.

DL- We definitely need to grab someone who can help LT overton, take pressure off him.

OL- I forgot about them... maybe we add one more.. depending if Pritchett goes or not.
We definitely need a RT!

JMO, but outside of the center position, I think our OL needs an extreme makeover with guys that are a lot more athletic.
I've got mixed feelings on our Brailsford. He gets the ball where it needs to get. he gets himself where he needs to be efficiently. He doesn't often get pushed back into the pocket (at least not to where it overly impacts the QB). that's all good to great. That said, he also doesn't really ever move anyone out of the hole either which, on the surface, seems to clog up the middle a bit more than we are used to. maybe that's ok in the new O Line philosophy and I just need to really see more of how all the parts work together.

He absolutely cannot push the middle of the pile. It is possible to scheme around that deficiency, but your runs between the tackles become a messy proposition.

Yes we need a DT i think.

And I forgot ol as well, should add at least one. I don't think pritchett goes anywhere. I do think formby pushes him again. I'm hoping we land Newberry from aTm

And here's the fongbomb on horton
I had not really looked at Horton until now and did not realize he was 6' 4". Here is a Miami Youtube video with comments and showing some plays he made. He is fiery and I really want this guy.

He is a big, physical receiver who was set to be WR1 at Miami next season. If we land him it would be a very, very good GET. Pair him with Ryan Williams and Germie Benard, and all we need is a QB who can distribute the ball to these guys on time.

Cubelic acted like he was better this season than he was a year ago, when he played on the Joe Moore winning OL

That is likley coming and already started with this oline class.

Guards will still probably be same sauce as usual but tackles will likley trim down. Which is the opposite of saban and wolfords previous approach, both are fine btw but for what deboer likes to do we needs more guys like Jackson Lloyd.

Formby is actually a really good fit for deboer and I would say that pritchett could be too but both need to keep improving and I think they will.

Boy that last sentence is a mouthful. I think I counted Like 11 missed blocks in the Oklahoma game by Pritchett. Formby got much more game time in the Auburn game and played really well. I had heard that Pritchett has been fighting an injury all season.

I'm iffy on taking a rb fwiw. I think we'd take fluff but other than that I dint think its a priority with 5 on roster....at least not til spring.

Hopefully we already have our LB target coming in...and I'm curious if the Pavia ruling may give Jefferson one more year.

Safety yes we probably need one more but mincey switching to safety helps that.
From what I heard today from someone in the know,is Pavia case is just injunction and not a ruling, and right now it only pertains to him

There were other games where prtchett was solid.

I personally think we missed how Oklahoma had two weeks ti.time up our snap count with the tap from booker to brailsford when assessing what went wrong in the game. Our oline had no shot, but maybe I'm wrong there, just my opinion on why we were so out of sorts.

As bad as formby looked against usf he looked very good against auburn.

Geno was iffy when the season started but ended the year a pretty seamless replacement when roberts or booker couldn't go.

Pretty confident they will improve over the off-season especially pushing each other and Lloyd getting on campus, he may actually play sooner than most of us thought.

And I agree I believe the whole right side of our line was banged up half of the year.
