I believe DeBoer can still be a good head coach. He inherited a running back playing QB, and it would have been very difficult to bench him. Next year he will have an open competition with some really good choices. I hear this Russell kid is outstanding, and he is DeBoers guy. But, I also know Simpson has some experience now, and he was really good coming out of high school.

I have zero confidence in DeBoer at this point but the truth is he took over a poisoned program. Certainly as the CEO, he has a responsibility to fix it, and he didn’t, but it was broken when he came in.
