I’d rather them sign. Filling up a class and having them go elsewhere last minute is more devastating than not having many names yet.

It seems like Bama isn’t seriously in on a lot of the top talent . Maybe this is the way of the NIL landscape.
It's you. We are in the lead for three 5* recruits and many other 4* recruits. Here is the SEC rankings with # of commits. Some more, some less so all good. We will most likely end up with a top 3 class again.
You are not following it very closely.
We made the top 5 for 4* OT Malakai Lee. It is most likely down to Bama/UGA from what I have seen.
We made the top four for 4* DL Titan Davis from St Louis and On3 predictor system has us leading.

All about the money is real for many of these low income kids so it does make sense in these days we live in. Hopefully a cap is put in place soon.

Not recruiting, per se, but I read about a preferred walk-on QB. A big, 6' 7" player. Article speculated he could be a prospect for switching to TE, but he's walking on as QB.
4* LB Cincere Johnson announcing on 6/19. Bama, OSU and PSU are his final 3. Going to be hard to get him out of Ohio but we will see.

We also made a very good impression on 4* WR Kenny Darby who is currently a LSU commit (that's a familiar Alabama football name). Will decide between them and Bama on 7/4.
