Don't need idiot politicians playing doctor.Not that the rule would have forced healthcare providers to perform transgender-related care in the first place. Conscience protections still applied. Those who lack expertise would not have had to suddenly know what they are doing and prescribe drugs or other treatments. Nothing much changed in regards to healthcare providers, except maybe they could not kick someone out of their practice simply for being transgender. This was more about funding sent to the states and how the states spend that money.
