2026 Recruiting

No surprise here but we made 5* S Jett Washington's final 3. Would be incredible to get two 5* safeties in this class but Oregon and USC are throwing around a lot of money. We shall see and would love to add another Jett to this class. This article also shows OV's this weekend with several of our elite targets.

My gut tells me we are a hat on the table for this guy...but, I hope I'm wrong. :unsure:

With all the money these schools are throwing around seems like a good time to jack up the asking prices of players you know you’re not gonna get. Maybe I’m petty (I am) but hey if you know what a “texas” ‘s ceiling is why not offer just under that and force the Texas type teams to pay top asking prices. Bleed them out over a five ten year span. Fine you’re gonna give that LB 3 mill? Cool that means you won’t give this OT tackle 2 anymore and we swoop in

Seriously, the only way that Texas would know what you offered is by the kids "reps" telling them, whether its true or not.

From some Georgia guys I know , they believe he is all Georgia. Kirby really likes the kid. I know he isn’t a top edge on 247( still highly rated) but from what I’ve heard , Kirby has recruited him hard. If we pull Brooks, I’m really feeling good about DeBoers recruiting chops!

I do that on EBay and Gunbroker. . Sometimes I end up with something I didn’t want for the price, but it’s the price I pay for being Petty.

I agree with you but nice for him to have a Bama and UGA hat on the table.
 
It’s late June, I’m getting nervous.we need to pick up a few highly rated guys in the next few weeks

Relax dude. It's coming and coming hard. Not sure about Abrams but feel good about the others.

  • 4-star IOL Deacon Schmitt - June 28
  • 5-star LB Xavier Griffin - June 29
  • 5-star WR Cederian Morgan - July 2
  • 5-star S Jireh Edwards - July 5
  • 4-star LB Nick Abrams II - July 16
With the Crimson Tide trending for some of these prospects as well, it certainly is shaping up to be a loaded late-June and early-July for Alabama, something that you could say has already started with a pair of recent four-star commitments in offensive lineman Sam Utu and quarterback Jett Thomalla.

A couple missing from that list that could commit in the coming weeks are 4* OT Malakai Lee and 4* DL Ruffin.
