Deion Sanders and his Prime Time Ego

In 2025, being humble and a good person still matters to people. In between the whistles you can be a savage and a dog and still be someone that the public can tolerate in real life. Good to see Travis hasn't let the money or fame get to his head. I wish him many years of success and hope he chooses to do good with his fame and fortune!

Love it…clearly not one of Deion’s biological sons…

And here is the guy who clearly does not get it.
Browns rookie QB Shedeur Sanders ticketed for speeding twice in June
Shedeur needs to focus on making the roster. That is not automatic. Terrel Owens and Antonio Brown deomnstrated that even being a physically gifted athlete does not mean the off the field distraction can get so severe the team decides to move on.
Now, two speeding tickets is not the end of the world (although driving 101 pmh on the interstate is reckless driving), but if his run-ins with the law continue, the briowns might move on and close the chapter on Shedeur.

He gives all the appearance of someone who has never been held accountable for anything and has had a lot of things either swept under the rug or mitigated severely because he has a famous daddy.

And this is EXACTLY why teams passed on him through 4+ rounds. That didn't take long...

Yet there is still people trying to say racism was the reason. Some caller on 92.9 the game just yesterday hinted at it. Credit to the host (who is black) corrected him. The caller claimed "we all know the real reason he got drafted late" then hung up and the host then explained the actual reason.

I hate it when someone does not capitalize on their God-given talent and reach their potential.
Some gifted athletes simply cannot get out of their own way.

My issue with Prime Time from a FSU alumnus: Forcing kids who wanted to go to school close to home to leave and have a dream deferred. People were appalled when he drove half of the Colorado team into the portal, now all of a sudden, he is a hero. Deion is about himself, and that's the bottom line. I don't care what he says about Coach Saban or any praise he gives him. Yes, kids in the portal is the current "business model". Not half the team, though.
Have you ever heard about a little place called Junction?

Per Yahoo, he was diagnosed with - and beat - bladder cancer.

Evidently, after having his bladder removed as part of the process, they made a new bladder out of parts of his intestines, which certainly beats having to wear a stoma bag. Medicine is something else, man.

I may not be a fan of how Deion conducts himself at times, but kudos to him for battling cancer and winning.

“What did you do at the office today, honey?”

“I made Deion Sanders a new bladder out of his intestines, no big deal.”

Well, you've got to tip your hat when appropriate.
Shedeur played well for the Browns (14-23, 138 yds, 2 TDs, no picks) in their pre-season game against Carolina.
Shedeur Sanders has Browns edging into real QB drama after solid exhibition showing vs. Panthers
I realize it is pre-season and Carolina might have been playing their 4th and 5th string CBs, merely to get a look at them, still, Shedeur did not play poorly.

I just watched his highlights and he looked pretty good.

I believe it was 2’s vs 2’s but he was hitting all the check downs that were open.

He also made several good medium range vertical and crossing throws with a lot of touch.

The windows will get much smaller vs 1st string pros but for where the Browns drafted him he looks promising.
