Middle East tensions are mounting.....also to include latest Gaza news.....

Not to hijack the thread, but those B-2s are arresting if you see them come over the horizon.

When I lived in West Omaha, I was running one evening at the county park near my house, on the back part of the trail away from the busy areas. A B-2 appeared over the treeline, having taken off at Offutt AFB. Startled the heck out of me.

If you see the signature of those planes from afar, you'd be convinced they were alien spacecraft.

My dad was once a NASCAR fan so we'd go to the spring Talladega race together every year - wasn't really my thing but he enjoyed it and it was a chance to do something together. One year they had a B2 fly over - it leveled off and flew directly over our heads in the stands. Truly awe inspiring. I told my dad it was a weird feeling being in awe of somerhing so cool while understanding it's terrible purpose...

Of all the military movements we have seen towards the Middle East over the last month or so, this one to me is the most telling that something is likely imminent. Two U.S. Air Force E-3 “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircraft arrived earlier today in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area-of-responsibility, from Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

Netanyahu: “I think we will need to wean ourselves off American military aid.”

Netanyahu’s most surprising statement today at the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee: “I think we will need to wean ourselves off American military aid.”

Netanyahu drew a comparison between the current military aid, which amounts to about 4 billion shekels, and the civilian aid he himself canceled in the 1990s: “Back then I said that, alongside our economic policy, this would lead Israel to growth—and just look at Tel Aviv’s skyline today.”

Netanyahu looks at Gaza residents as Hamas sympathizers.

Not too far from the truth.

The good news is support for Hamas by Gazans has gone way down in the past year. There was a time when the majority of Gazans supported Hamas and the destruction of Israel.

Hard to achieve any kind of peace with that mindset by the local population......
