Alabama's Ryan Williams won't go off for 177 yards like he did in last year's game, but the offense will be more explosive than Georgia's.

Simpson will be terrific. He'll throw for a ton of yards, and again, the DeBoer offensive style will look the part.

And then the Bama D will let down the O on two late Bulldog scoring drives.

Not an unreasonable prediction.

I don't have a feel for this one other than UGA is very hard to beat at home and we've struggled on the road.

It will take a full effort for whoever wins. It will probably come down to a few plays. Maybe a late turnover or a clutch throw by Ty will seal it for us.

This game is won or lost at the LOS, plain and simple. If we cannot get a run game going, it will be a long afternoon. If our DL cannot get pressure on the UGA QB, it will be a long afternoon. We have been known in the past few years to make an average QB look like the greatest player in the game. With that being said, I am going to say:

Bulldogs 38
Bama 24

What if I told you that in our last three games we were woefully unprepared in one of them and looked great in the other two?

Or, what if I told you that in our last three games we were woefully unprepared in two of them and looked great in the other one?

Guess which coaches coached those two 3 game series???

My unbiased opinion is that Georgia wins a close game but Alabama is just outmatched. My biased opinion is that Alabama is actually prepared for this road game and takes care of business. I do not think it plays into Alabama's favor that Georgia is coming off of a bye week as well.

I feel like we are going to have to play a near flawless game in all phases and need a break to pull this out AT UGA. The crowd will all be foaming at the mouth come kickoff and could play a role in the game.

I know everything points to UGA winning this game. I’m even trying to prepare myself mentally for the loss. Yet, I can’t seem to genuinely convince myself we are going to lose. Maybe because it’s Georgia and we’ve always beaten them when it seems like they have the better team, or maybe because we have a more potent offense than they do.

I haven't posted here in forever, but here goes.

If past performance is prologue, we are probably in for a pretty ugly result on Saturday.

Knowing how unprepared we are for road games under DeBoer, and how weak we have been in the trenches this season, it's possible that we get run out of the stadium on Saturday night.

Honestly, if we lose 31-27 between the hedges I wouldn't feel so bad.

It wouldn't surprise me if we get blown out like 45-20.

I have no faith in DeBoer or this team on the road against a top-flight opponent until they show me otherwise.

Honestly I could stomach a loss if we just look like we actually prepared for the game. Granted it would suck to have to listen to all the uga fans bark (literally and not kidding) all week.
How we play this weekend, win or lose, could basically set the stage for the rest of the season.

If we play like a bunch of bums and get plastered, I could see us coming home the following week and losing to Vanderbilt and then the wheels come off and the season spins totally out of control.

I think Vandy is capable of beating us regardless of how we play this week……..damn, I don’t think I’ve ever thought that, much less expressed it, in my entire life!

Oh, I totally agree.

Vandy is legit and they may do the same thing they did to us last year in terms of confusing the defense.

Our offense is probably capable of scoring as much or more as we did last year, but I have pretty much no faith in Wommack's ability to prepare the defense for running QBs and offenses that use misdirection.

Wommack to me is pretty much like Golding 2.0.
