I went to school in West Tennessee in the early 2000s. The small town where the college was located had a Jack’s. Of course being from north AL I was raised around it. My classmates raised outside of the south LOVED it. Always amused me.

Jacks and Subway are the only chains we have in the small town I live in. As you can imagine, we save a lot of money because we rarely eat out.

Went to a Jack's because it was the only place to eat in the area I was working......I think I was 2nd or 3rd in line....waiting....waiting....waiting.....people started leaving behind me....still no one coming to the counter. It was just before 12, new Jack's.....I'm guessing they had their entire crew call in sick or something. Don't remember where I wound up eating that day, haven't been back to a Jack's since.

This commercial is worse than the old Jim skinner Ford ads in the 80s and 90s

Jacks used to have the best fried chicken. Just the right amount of spicey and crunchy. This was way back in the 90s. Their biscuits were pretty good then too.

It's still great. My bil wants it every time he visits from Connecticut.
