That loss is squarely on Ty Simpsons shoulders… he has won games for us this season but three TO are two many.

Horrible take. This loss is on special teams and play calling. Ty made some mistakes, but he cannot run, pass, catch and block.

With this loss though you have to win the SEC now. Not just make it there. Lose to either AU or the SEC and we are out.

They won’t penalize a team for losing in a conference championship game coming in at 10-2. Win out in the regular season and they’re in.

Edit: You can’t make every game close by dumb play calling and mistakes and expect to win them all. Especially in the SEC.

That’s DeBoer in a nutshell. So yeah, he did cause all the mistakes. He’s the man in charge.

Teams lose. This was about fumbles and close plays we didn't make. The coaches aren't on the field the players are.

There are execution issues, yes. But I still say the biggest issue tonight was playcalling after we went up 21-20. Yeah turnovers got us to that place. But you get the ball back with a lead, finally, and you deliver three straight dud possessions.

I can’t brag on the defense enough though. They played wining football tonight.

This team just doesn’t have any home run hitters. When you can’t run the ball and the quarterback struggles with the deep ball it is hard to consistently score points. Then to score you have to methodically try and move the ball down with short passes and that isn’t an easy way to score against top defenses. We can still win but we have very little leeway. It feels like we have to play perfect with no turnovers and hope the defense can hold steams around 20 points.

The shame of this game and for the most part this season is that, if we didn’t have such a porous offense line and could block half decent in the run game, this team could easily be undefeated.

I’ve been a huge critic of Kane Wommack. It’s time for me to eat crow. This defense is good enough to win the SEC and make a deep run in the playoffs. This defense has played lights out.

This Oline is the Achilles heel.

Our backs are against the wall now. Win out and see what happens. If not, we are Miss Congeniality again this year in the CFP beauty pageant.

This...when was our last back to back scoring possessions? and in the second half we just disappeared after going ahead...this has to be on the play calling...we had them on their heels and then decided to run on 1st and second down....

If I counted right, after our 3rd quarter TD, 12 of our final 23 plays were runs. Runs! For a team that has sucked at running the ball all year.

That’s on the coaches, that’s on Grubb for some stupid playcalling.
