Bama Game Thread: Bama PostGame Thread - Bama vs. OU...

There are execution issues, yes. But I still say the biggest issue tonight was playcalling after we went up 21-20. Yeah turnovers got us to that place. But you get the ball back with a lead, finally, and you deliver three straight dud possessions.

I can’t brag on the defense enough though. They played wining football tonight.
Playcalling was fine. We didn’t execute.

If I counted right, after our 3rd quarter TD, 12 of our final 23 plays were runs. Runs! For a team that has sucked at running the ball all year.

That’s on the coaches, that’s on Grubb for some stupid playcalling.

Maybe I counted wrong though.
If true...thats just embarassing

Hey it aint all Eeyore the defense has played really well the last 4 games.

Ty has not been right since Tennessee. Jam isn’t healthy. Grubb doesn’t move the chains. OU’s offense didn’t really do much. The biggest problem is our OL is simply awful.
The offense moves the chains but doesn’t get any big plays so it makes it hard to put points on the board. When is the last long play we have had?

The shame of this game and for the most part this season is that, if we didn’t have such a porous offense line and could block half decent in the run game, this team could easily be undefeated.

I’ve been a huge critic of Kane Wommack. It’s time for me to eat crow. This defense is good enough to win the SEC and make a deep run in the playoffs. This defense has played lights out.

This Oline is the Achilles heel.

Our backs are against the wall now. Win out and see what happens. If not, we are Miss Congeniality again this year CFP beauty pageant.

You're dead on! The O-Line has been a problem the entire year. Unfortunately our coaches could not call plays around it and it cost us big time tonight.

I think we’d now have to finish 11-2 SEC Champs to make it.

10-3 with the loss to FSU and losing at Home to a lower ranked OU as the #4 would be all the ammunition they need to bounce us again.
They are not going to punish anyone from losing in the SEC championship game. Just like they didn’t with SMU last year.
