Bama Game Thread: Bama PostGame Thread - Bama vs. OU...

There are execution issues, yes. But I still say the biggest issue tonight was playcalling after we went up 21-20. Yeah turnovers got us to that place. But you get the ball back with a lead, finally, and you deliver three straight dud possessions.

I can’t brag on the defense enough though. They played wining football tonight.
I agree to a degree about the playcalling.

But in Grubb's defense, we moved the ball better today with the run than I thought possible. But there were several times I wished he had put the ball in Ty's hands instead of Jam's, specifically.

But let's also admit that with an OL that has regular, critical breakdowns in pass pro and run blocking he's kinda operating with one hand behind his back against a defense as talented as OU's.

The way the Barn has played we will be lucky to come out of there with a win. We just are not physical enough anymore we haven't been since Scott left. I hope im wrong but I predicted we would go 9-3. The bend dont break defense is nor going to work. And we can't keep making mistakes to decent teams. I love my team but I have not been a KD fan.

I think we’d now have to finish 11-2 SEC Champs to make it into the Playoffs.

10-3 with the loss to FSU and losing at Home to a lower ranked OU as the #4 would be all the ammunition they need to bounce us again.
I concur. Our only path in is winning the SEC.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure we can beat TAMU.

I think OU might have had something to do with the outcome.
Tip the hat to the Sooners. They came to play.
Show me these amazing plays they made? I’ll wait…

Bama shot themselves in the foot the entire game. Game shouldn’t have been close. You simply cannot EVER give up ~220 yards and lose a game. Can’t happen.

What does today have to do with the defense? Held them to 212 and no TDs on full field drives

They’re the reason we only lost by 2
