I think a G5 playoff would be pretty cool. We'd get a lot more football and it would help restore some of the old luster of bowl season. It wouldn't look the same, but it could fill the current void. This bowl season feels pretty dead compared to 10 years ago when you look at the bowl schedule.

JMU is why. They average about 25,000 attendance, and Oregon despite the Phil Knight funding actually only averages around 60K.

So basically their combined average attendance is an SEC game, and that's about how much people care I guess...
