You do realize that that the people in this country illegally are overwhelmingly "brown"?
Perhaps, but the brown people in this country are overwhelmingly citizens.

Yet you seem to think that ICE has the right to accost any brown person they want to?

What exactly is "brown" anyway? I love how the left is so totally obsessed with skin color that they have to make one up to fit whatever narrative they're selling.
It would be better to refer to them as persons of color; not only is it more accurate, it shouldn't be as confusing as "brown" appears to be.

The Bill of Rights is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules...
john galt is too awesome to be limited by rules

it’ll be fun watching people defend and hand wave this away

The concept of masked armed men breaking down doors of people they suspect did wrong should bother us all.

Here we go….

You're about to see this photo everywhere: elderly Hmong grandfather (U.S. citizen) pulled outside in shorts and Crocs into -30°F wind chill—> Outrage exploding: "fascism," "no warrant," "Trump cruelty."

Here's the real story: 👀

ICE was targeting two undocumented Laotian sex offenders living at that house-both with final removal orders.
- One: sexual assault of a minor + rape/kidnapping/DV
- The other: first-degree sexual assault with penetration, DV, violating protective order, failure to register as sex offender

Both are still at large in St. Paul.

The grandfather lived with them, initially refused to provide ID, fingerprints, and matched their descriptions. Standard protocol: temporarily detain everyone present for safety until cleared (he was released after 1 hour, no charges).

DHS confirmed the facts .
Priority = removing dangerous predators, not brief collateral holds.

Stop falling for rage-bait edits. Check primary sources.

Public safety gets messy when the worst hide among citizens.

"DHS confirms it as facts" is like relying on Trump for truthful information. I am not seeing anything about him harboring sex offenders other than DHS basically saying "Trust me bro".

I thought we were focusing on criminals?
On January 20, ICE conducted a targeted operation to arrest Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, an illegal alien from Ecuador who was RELEASED into the U.S. by the Biden administration. As agents approached the driver Adrian Alexander Conejo Arias, fled on foot—abandoning his child. For the child’s safety, one of our ICE officers remained with the child while the other officers apprehended Conejo Arias. Parents are asked if they want to be removed with their children, or ICE will place the children with a safe person the parent designates. This is consistent with past administration’s immigration enforcement. Parents can take control of their departure and receive a free flight and $2,600 with the CBP Home app. By using the CBP Home app illegal aliens reserve the chance to come back the right legal way.

ymmv, but i believe a damned thing that comes as justification from this administration

it was from two separate news sources and not "The Democrats"
Two separate news sources showed the man was not an illegal alien who ran?

Or is there some part of the explanation that has been proved false?

Happy to hear otherwise, I've just not seen anything that directly disproves what DHS posted.

Christ on a bike, the amount of "bothsides" in here.

I'm going to believe Homeland Security (at least the thugs running this one) over the local school administration?

People that are always talking about govt. overreach.
The best part is that even though no one here bats 1.000, even if the tweet proves 100% accurate you'd never admit your take was wrong.

Both sides - literally - are 100% tribal. It's actually amusing.
