The Braves losing with Sale going 6in only giving up 1 run vs a Bullpen game for the Cubs is the most Braves thing possible.

I’m happy to win 2 of 3 but man that’s a game you should win.

We still have a 9 game lead in the NL East but Philly has quietly gone 13-5 in their last 18

On another positive note I’m looking forward to Strider’s start vs the Red Sox since he looked like his old self last start.

I really don’t understand why Walt keeps doing this. I think he’s been a much smarter manager than Snit thus far, but continuing to do this when it doesn’t work reminds me of Snit's stubbornness.

Probably should have pulled him just off of the pitch count.

But I will say the pitch that was hit for the HR wasn’t ‘bad’ really.

It was way low out of the strike zone but Contreras was looking for it and went down and got it.

I guess I’d be more upset if it was just a hanging meatball that got nuked into orbit.

But still when you SP goes 8in and only gives up 3 you should win most nights.

Bats have gone cold except for Drake and Harris.

Looks like I chose a good night not to watch. My wife and daughter wanted to watch a movie, so I let them have the TV. It was 1-0 when I stopped.

Question...

How long should Kim continue to be the starter at SS? Not only has he been pathetic at the plate, but he has committed 2 errors in his first 6 games back. Definitely not worth the $20 million price tag so far.

IMO, Mateo is the better option right now.

IMO, Mateo is the better option right now.

Kim seems like he isn't all there mentally. Being rusty with hitting is one thing but the errors are unacceptable.

There is a lot of overreacting going on today with regards to our pitching. Some want Ritchie sent down after one bad game. I say give him one more. Last night was just one of those nights where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Everyone was bad.
