Yes, thank you Ken.
I am trying to figure out what to take from that. 3 coaches other than Spurrier? That would be Saban, Stoops, and the wild card coach that the mods have been hinting about.

Hey mods....how about some more wild card hints...oh yeah, and if you pull these strings in different directions you can make us puppets dance
Go Jags**
You and I must have the same source.
The smoke is beginning to bellow...
Look, don't get wound up about this, but a buddy of mine who would know tells me that Stoops was one of two guys who contacted Bama before Shula was fired.Where the heck did Stoops' name come from??? I seriously dout he'd leave OU to come to UA. That program is in our league tradition wise, and he's a proven winner there. Why leave that?

I can't make it work either - Stoops is one of the top 1 or 2 coaches in all of college football right now - but that's what I heard. Who knows, with the Bomar situation and all...
Unlikely, but he would be my top choice if we could have anyone...
Read Mal Moore's statement, he pretty well spells out who he's trying to get.
Your right soldier, we want know till the 1st of Jan.
The interview seems to be one where Shaun and DP were basically kidding around about the whole coach thing. It's difficult to show tone, emotion, etc. over th internet, so simply reading the text won't do it for you. But I'd guess that SA was simply joking around with DP and that he really has no idea who the next coach will be.
Who?Read Mal Moore's statement, he pretty well spells out who he's trying to get.
lol....
Stallings, I know how you feel, but look at what he's hinting at. We hanven't contacted ANY coaches not done with the regular season.
Then look at the MOST likely high value prospect that has completed a college regular season - SOS. So, that rules out SOS right now, due to adamant "no's". So who else out there could we after who has completed a college regular season? Stoops? Perhaps, however I think the wording of it suggests more.
*Hint* You can't finish a season you never started.
