Well said. This quote struck me, but I think that it is true. This is like a new job for CNS and he doesn't have any strong feelings/connection to his company just yet. Give it time.

His wife dresses him funny, it'll hit home once they get accustomed to the Bama passion.

For now, he's a new Coach with absolutely no prior relevance to Bama except to kick our asses during his last seasons as a tiger. Gonna take some time to get into full Bama mode.

Still he really soulda figured that was a poor choice of color for this particular game.

Gottfried has hard to look at b/c he is so damn bright and Saban was making a statement tonight...

He could have worn a blue or white shirt with a tan blazer. He didn't have to wear that purple/maroon color.

I really think he should have worn a green shirt, it would have really brought out the color of his eyes. .... Guys you are making way to big a deal about this, he wasn't wearing LSU purple, and even if he was, even if he wears a Mike the Tiger costume to every game and he wins, I honestly don't care.

Saban's a merc. So what? Greg Maddux is a merc and he was damn awesome. As said already, as long as he wins, who cares if wears a feather boa and furry slippers?

I'm not expecting Saban to bleed crimson, however wearing a shirt that matches our colors would be nice....especially considering he is being introduced at half time. His wife wore a crimson top at the airport, so she knows full well the implications of it. Hopefully with time Saban will feel an attachment to Bama.
