You tell me how what Miles did was any different that any politician in America. Was there anything that he stated that wasn't true? He put himself and his staff in the best of light and made his employers (the fans) feel good about the direction that the program is headed. As far as cursing, I wasn't there and didn't hear it on that portion of the interview.

I'd hope that if any politician was as embarrasing as that, his political career would be very short-lived.
 
Ease up everybody, there is no evidence that Miles dropped the F bomb when discussing Bama, did not happen. This is one of those rumors that won't die. I won't try and defend his public speaking ability, this is a Bama board and it would do no good. But I will say that him running the LSU program in the ground, like I hear constantly here, is a bit premature. All the talk about how he should have won a MNC with all that talent, he lost to two highly ranked teams on the road. All coaches have games they lose that leave them open to that charge Pete Carroll lost to two mediocre teams this year. Saban lost a few like that at LSU. Time will tell about Miles, but I wouldn't be so sure that LSU is doomed to sprial down.

I'd definitely not say LSU is doomed or even spiraling downwards, I would say theres a good possibility they will not be as dominate as they were last year.

with all due respect why can't this be locked or deleted, all it does is cause bad blood between these two institutions.
 
why can't we all realize that both coaches have been emotional and maybe need to step back and think about they are saying. this isn't life or death its is college football. i deep down wish we could all get along, maybe it is time for a group hug and plant some flowers. good time for a joke.
 
Don`t care what Les Miles says about us, don`t care what TT says about us, don`t care what any other fans say about us. What should any of us care what another schools coach says about us. He used the F-bomb in front of kids, so what, we as a majority go to and let our kids go to movies and listen to music where words like that are strung together like some kind of art form. I`m not condoning it. I`m just stating a fact of our society today. Some see at as being classless and some it doesn`t bother at all.

Just look at it this way, LSU wanted a coach and they got Les. ;)
