Not sure about a link. I read this in the pre-season magazine. One thing I found that I DON'T agree with is their ranking of BCS coaches. They have Saban at #7 behind Pete Carroll, Jim Tressel, Rich Rodriguez, Jim Grobe, Bob stoops, and Frank Beamer.

he has been in the pros for the last 3 years. He should be honored to even be at #7 without even having to coach a game.

I picked this one up over the weekend. From what I've read it's actually a pretty good mag. They gave us an A plus for the hire, but they had to refer to us as dysfunctional. Other than that one little shot they seemed to have a good grasp on what's happening.

I was disappointed in the fact that they didn't list any SEC teams among the ones with the hardest schedules. They chose instead to use a couple Pac10 teams????? I know USC was one, I can't remember the other.

This is the same guy who ranked Miles number 41 in his list of coaches (he didn't even include Urban Meyer in his top 10 coaches)

How is Miles overrated when no one has said he's a great coach. In fact, most people think he's not even a good coach. All we hear is that he's living off of Saban's talent. His 22-4 record has nothing to do with him. Yet he is over rated? :conf2:

I guarantee you that if Saban were to go 22-4 teh nest couple seasons not one person would credit Shula's players - If he loses they will blame Shula & not Saban.

I agree with ya on that. I will rag somebody when they brag about their recruiting when they aren't playing with their players yet though. I'm not saying this is the case with Les Miles btw. I just think most feel like he has underachieved.

It all depends on the quality and quanity of the players a coach inherits. It's no secret that Miles was handed a very well stocked cupboard. It's also no secret that Shula left behind a bunch of ?s because of his ignorance of the importance of S&C. He also didn't develop any depth because we were usually in dog-fights with even the lightweights on the schedule and had to stick with the frontliners for almost the entire games. Coach Saban has had to clean up Shula's mess before he can concentrate on implementing his program.

I noticed that even though CNS came in here with just a couple of weeks to recruit and landed a top 10 class, his name isn't mentioned in recruiting. That's right folks, just ignore the little guy with the yell lines around his mouth, he don't know nuthin' about no coaching.
