I don't believe this is a failure of Applewhite's playcalling as it is the lack of blocking by the offensive line. I can't believe many were saying the offensive line was going to be our strong point. This reminds me of a few years back Kansas State's coach was talking about how they had gone 0-12. He made the comment that what was bad was that he had all his people back.

This is some of the worst effort I've seen out of an offense in a while. If we win this game I'll take it, but this team doesn't deserve to win today.

Keep in mind that FSU's D has remained fairly good even through the last few years. It was their offense that stunk it up like a Bob Connelly blocking clinic.
