I just want to stop by and take my hat off to your team. They played their butts off and wanted that game far more than our guys did. The scoreboard says we won, but I'm not so sure we deserved to. When you commit 15 penelties and turn the ball over 3 times, you are not supposed to win.

Anyway, that was a great game and I look forward to many more classics with the Tide. I know it stings, but try and enjoy the rest of your season, it is not over yet. This is still a step in the right direction for you guys. Now Alabama knows that LSU is not this unstoppable force and is very beatable.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Good post 1404. The loss stings, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing from our team. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way.

Stop by and chat football with us whenever you want.

We have all heard the "whoever wins the LSU/Auburn game usually wins the West" statistic. Well I think you may have to switch Auburn for Bama in that statement now.

Thanks for your kind words.

Congratulations on the win in a very hard fought game on both sides. Great teams overcome adversity and that's what LSU did today.
If you will excuse me now, I'm going to go puke. :puke:I don't mean anything derogatory toward LSU when I say this, it's just this game today really hurts.

Best of luck to LSU for the rest of the season.

I will say this about all the LSU fans: Some real trash drifted into town on Friday, probably almost all without tickets. However, from an "intercepted" communication between cops, they filled the jail up and weren't around to disrupt things for both sets of fans of good will - or, if they got out, they were too hung over to do more damage. The guys we were around were great... :D

Thanks for the posts. Good game and good luck rest of the year. I hope LSU is playing for the NC and rep the SEC proudly. If it is Ohio ST, beat their butts and show the big 10 all about southern football again.

Wow this is what Singapore is supposed to be like. But they don't torture the riff-raff there unfortunately.

I just want to note that a half-dozen of our Bama regulars at TigerForums who have been giving us a good-natured hard time all week have already posted classy congratuation threads that are highly appreciated. Let me return the favor and congratulate Bama on what I think will be a team that wins out, finishes in the top-25, and goes to a major bowl. What bowl could resist the fans that Bama will travel with this year?

gracious winners are a rare commodity these days. thanks and good luck to ya'll..Roll Tide

I agree with this statement. As far as I go, I am very aware of the reputation that our fanbase has. I must admit, some of it is warrented. That's why I do everything I can to try and change maybe just one person's opinion about the LSU fanbase. We all have our moron fans, but please know that we are not all like this.

Again, good luck the rest of the way.

Thanks, Red. Now, will you go back and tell CParso that we don't have a Dorsey, nor an MF or a 6'5" 294 DE who can run down a QB? (and swat down three passes?) :D

Good game, Bama. My heart was in my throat the entire time. It went about like I expected with a close LSU win at the end.

You guys are a lot more talented than you think. Personally, I think that most of you are full of it when you put down your teams talent level having watched you play every game this season. I really don't get that. That interception by Ezekiel Knight was a play of sheer talent. The catches by your receivers and the play of Gilberry was all about talent. JPW has some good talent as well. You're as talented as all but a few teams in the country, in my opinion - look at Kansas; do you think that they are more talented than Bama? Yeah, LSU had more talent, but we also shot ourselves in the foot all game long so it didn't do us much good until the end.

Seriously, I picked this Bama team to win 10 games, and with a bowl win, you still might. Whether you beat Auburn or not (they're playing very well in my opinion) doesn't take anything away from the fact that you have a really good team.

By the way, even though the score was lower, this game reminded me of the last LSU-Bama game at Bryant Denny. Seems like these games in Tuscaloosa always go down to the wire. That was a tough team in '05 and this one is too. Great game guys.

Hey my parents just got back from the game, and said they had a wonderful time sitting next to some LSU fans.
