Bama Twins?

I always see the Bama Twins on TV, and I've always wondered who they are. I read in one of the threads on here last week that they are related to CPB. Is this the case? My father -in- law and I want to know...

Long story made short before it gets moved:

The two you are asking about are UAB students who come to every home game. They very close to field level in the student section so it is easy for a photographer to catch a picture of them. Some feel they are doing it just to get the attention, others feel differently. At one point I had even heard a business pays for their tickets and they in turn serve as spokespeople for said business.

Wierd, someone said on here the other day that they were the Bear's granddaughters or something. Told my family that, now I look like an idiot, greeeaaat.

Not sure, but I doubt it. If they were Coach Bryant's granddaughters, they wouldn't be sitting where they do in the stadium.

Seems football-related to me. The twins have been discussed on here before ... most of those discussions turn into arguments of the "they're not so hot ... they're just attention hounds" versus "they're attractive girls ... they present good publicity for Bama" variety.

Best I've been able to tell from reading the threads is that they are nice, friendly young ladies ... and I like that they seem to dress in a classy, non-slutty way.

They may not represent the absolute "hottest" section of the Bama female population ... but they present a wholesome, attractive image for the school in my book.

They are always dressed very nicely, and I think are a good representation for the school. They are never drunk, are always smiling (except when we are losing of course). But I was just wondering who they are exactly.

I read that article earlier today when I was trying to find something on them. The reason I started this is because someone said on here last week that they are related to Coach Bryant, and I just wanted clarification on that. Apparently they aren't, and apparently I am very gullible.:biggrin2:

Um...really? Oh yeah, you're a UNA student...now I understand.

Seriously, they look like they could have been fathered by Jay Leno (especially the one on the right). I just don't feel comfortable letting UAB students serve as "icons" for UA. I don't question their loyalty, so to speak, but I do have an issue with them being representative of UA. And they're quite fugly...so...
