We should all know by now how off the field situations can be a distraction and play into the on the field results....I think it makes a difference this weekend against LSU.

CLM does a decent job of motivating the troops. I believe they will come ready to play. This type of speculation has a heavy effect on the coaching staff because it can impact their immediate future. The concern is whether the coaching staff will be focused.

After the huge let down loss to Arkansas, hearing that your coach might leave can be very deflating for a team. Throw in the fact that they already play sloppy (most penalized team in the SEC) and have looked very beatable in many games, and it's looking better and better for UT. They're hot (won 5 straight since the Bama beat down) and could end up beating LSU.

And the main beneficiary of this hoopla might actually be... Georgia.

If Tennessee wins, Missouri and WVU lose, then GA gets to play in the BCS championship game with Ohio State.

I don't think the people that vote will allow this to happen. If those teams actually lose, the pollsters will do everything they can to get USC and Ohio State into that game.

Well, with Bo's selection today by NU, looks like LSU is imploding. Extremely bad timing for the tiggers. They will lose tomorrow. Never said this before, but I hope UT wins. At least we can say we beat the >>>> out of the SEC champion.

Flying to ATL in the morning and returning home after the game. I have a BIG concern that the Vols will take it to us tomorrow afternoon. My only hope is that the players have banded together and said screw the coaches, screw the admin, screw the fans and let's finish this season off the right way.

I can only express my thoughts and feelings. Personally, the excitement for the SECG is not in me this evening. I am unsure if it is the coaching situation or the loss to Arkansas last week, but the match is not lighting. I hope the players are not going through the same thing.

Honestly, I think you can finally see what they think of Miles. If you had a coach with that record, don't you think there would be at least some chatter of what to do to keep him? Anyways, he was good for the LSU program and probably left at the best time.

I believe that many LSU fans, myself included, would like to see Coach Miles stay in Baton Rouge. But, what can be done to keep him when money is obviously not a huge factor in his decision. I think that Alabama fans more than any other fan would realize that with regards to Coach Bryant. Coach Miles is in the same situation, be it a half century later, but the same situation. Coach Bryant had turned the corner at Texas A&M and I believe the fans and administration at the time really wanted him to stay. But, he felt an obligation and an opportunity to return to his alma mater and make a difference. He made that decision and I don't believe anything could have been done to change his mind. Again, I believe Coach Miles is in the same situation at this time.
