How will Les Miles probable impending departure affect the play of LSU in the SECCG?
I'm much more interested in how it affects their recruiting...
That may depend on whether they already have a search committee operating. By this time next week Miles will be wearing maize and blue, and LSU will need a coach.I'm much more interested in how it affects their recruiting...
CLM does a decent job of motivating the troops. I believe they will come ready to play. This type of speculation has a heavy effect on the coaching staff because it can impact their immediate future. The concern is whether the coaching staff will be focused.
I don't think the people that vote will allow this to happen. If those teams actually lose, the pollsters will do everything they can to get USC and Ohio State into that game. And the main beneficiary of this hoopla might actually be... Georgia.
If Tennessee wins, Missouri and WVU lose, then GA gets to play in the BCS championship game with Ohio State.
:eek2:
No worries. WVU will not get beat by Pitt!I don't think the people that vote will allow this to happen. If those teams actually lose, the pollsters will do everything they can to get USC and Ohio State into that game.
True. I think we could get 11 people from this board and score points against Pitt.:biggrin:No worries. WVU will not get beat by Pitt!

Excellent point.Honestly, I think you can finally see what they think of Miles. If you had a coach with that record, don't you think there would be at least some chatter of what to do to keep him? Anyways, he was good for the LSU program and probably left at the best time.
