No, he's not. I've had to remove late night posts of his, taking shots, for the last several nights in a row. And I'm getting damned tired of it. He can listen to me now or later...

Gov. Joe Manchin apparently has been attempting to woo Marion County
buddy and Alabama head coach Nick Saban to this job, though rumors
persisted earlier Wednesday that former Auburn coach Terry Bowden and
current East Carolina head coach Skip Holtz had moved into position to
be offered—or perhaps had been offered—the job.

"You guys read too many message boards," said Garrison with a smile, as
the players celebrated inside their locker room within University of
Phoenix Stadium.

"There are no three candidates. We're close to an end in the search.

"I'll talk to Bill (Stewart) whenever Bill wants to talk with me."

Their Scout fan site makes me proud of TideFans. There are at least 50 threads about Stewart being named coach; and I only looked at the first 5 pages of threads.
 
This is so funny. Now they are saying that they were going to hire Saban and it was a done done but decided that they would rather have Stewart. They turned Saban down! HAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA HHAAAAAAAAA.

EERHole on Coach Stew

I have come to say a few facts and opinions about the coaching hire (without a riddle).

When I posted yesterday, I had information which was solid, but changed during/after the game. The administration was going to make a big splash. There were several prominent names of current head coaches and yes Saban was one of them. He was prepared to come home. The fact is that this changed late last night. The administration never really considered Stewart. I admit to being wrong on who would be hired and am here to take my bashing.

Now for an opinion. Hats off to Coach Stew, but this was an emotional hire. He may end up winning a national championship, but it was still an emotional hire. I am looking forward to finding out how the staff will be assembled/maintained. All I can say is that if the players are behind him, so am I.

Finally, did we beat the you know what our of OU last night or what?

I am happy for the Eers but these folks really believed CNS was going to WVU.

I hope Coach Stew works well for them. I hope, as someone said, this isn't a Mike Dubose type of hire.

I read over their Scout site as well. It is quite humorous. They were all but ready to name Saban, but decided to promote Stewart and pay him 800K. So, I guess they're going to sink the extra 3.2 million into facilities. Yeah, right.
 
I am glad they didnt hire Saban, cause we would have made the Barners mad by hiring Tubs away from them :p

Plus truth be known Saban wasnt interested in their job so they hired the interim cause no one wanted the job, not even their most qualified alumnus....LOL

West Virginia isnt even his college.....I would be more worried about UGA hiring Saban away than the eers,

He loves WVa so much his retirement home is in Georgia....

This guy is so full of himself, you'd think he was a Barner. His experts were not experts. It was his stupid opinion, which we all have. Opinions are like what we all have in our hip pockets, we all have one. This guy showed his. He can be called an idiot, moron, fool, stupid, and assorted four letter words. But expert and know it all, is certainly not one of them. His crap came home to smell and now he has to live with it. So, the excuses begin.
 
When, I was a kid, Lew Alcinder of milwaukee led the NBA in scoring. suddenly lew's teammate, Kareem Abdul jabbar was leading the NBA in scoring. fast forward 35-40 years, WVU has Nick saban all locked up and ready to schedule a presser about his hire, then suddenly some guy named bILL stewart gets the job. my only question is, When did Nick change his name?
 
There is an old saying about a good "deal". If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. In the case of these idiotic rumors of Saban to WVU, using a little common sense would have solved the problem for most. As PT Barnum said: There's a sucker born every minute.
 
West Virginity just proved to the world what a big crock of a crap lump they are and Im not talking about about coal lumps. The navy blue jethro clones cant handle the truth that they suck. Ooooohhh AAAAAh 800K what a joke! Lets see what we got here people: 60,000 seat stadium,garbage dump facilities,cant even sell out their own bcs bowl game of alloted tickets,in the wannabe football conference that started it all of the directional little boys,a non-existant tradition and johnny come lately program living off of the modern ncaa parity rules,and last a filthy mentally reject fanbase that looks like a wwe Sat night audience. These invisible bleeps on a map cant handle the truth that they are nationally irrelevant and nobody cares. Virginny can go straight to hades along with the rest of the sec,media and teams I cant stand. I say call these punks up and schedule them 2 from now in BD in a home and home if they want some of Bama. Id like to hang 100 pts on these smelley clowns.
